Photograph large fitness equipment in its assembled, usable state, then show its footprint, adjustment positions and storage configuration. For a treadmill, bench or rack, buyers need to understand where it fits and which parts move. A dramatic gym scene alone cannot answer those questions.

Start with a space-planning photograph
Set the camera far enough back to include the whole machine without an extreme wide-angle view. Keep it level so vertical uprights stay parallel. Photograph a three-quarter overview plus a side view: the first explains the structure, while the second makes length and moving sections easier to see.
A doorway or person can suggest scale, but provide measured dimensions separately. Measure the maximum outside width and length, including feet, projecting handles and attachments in the configuration shown. Put a ruler or tape in the relevant plane and record the actual endpoints.
Do not call this rectangle the required exercise space. A moving rowing seat, extended cable, incline mechanism or bench user may need room beyond the resting footprint. Use the manufacturer's clearance instructions for the particular model; do not invent a universal gap around every machine.

A folded treadmill is not necessarily its shipping size. If a bench changes height as it inclines, identify the setting used for each measurement. Do not combine the smallest dimensions from different configurations into one impossible storage specification.

Make black frames and polished rails readable
Use side light on textured rubber and powder-coated metal so foot pads, seams and adjustment holes remain distinct. Add a white card to the shadow side if cables disappear into the frame. Keep enough contrast to show the difference between a strap and the structure behind it.
Polished guide rails reflect the room. Move a broad diffuser until the highlight follows the rail without swallowing the edge. A clean background cannot repair a rail that was clipped to featureless white in the original capture.
For the console, photograph the screen separately if exposing for the whole machine leaves it unreadable. If the screen shows bands, try a different shutter speed and inspect the actual file. Displays vary, so do not publish a universal shutter setting. Use the machine's real screen; a pasted interface from another model misrepresents the controls.
Show adjustments and included attachments
Record seat rails, locking pins, cable ends and the positions a user must identify. Photograph a removable attachment installed and then with the supplied contents. Do not add spare plates or handles to the contents image unless they are sold with the machine.
