Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ShotBG, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Operator, Contact & Data Controller
ShotBG is operated by Jack, an independent individual developer (sole proprietor) based in mainland China. There is no separate company entity; Jack personally provides the service and is also the data controller for personal data processed through it. 2. Use of Service
You agree to use ShotBg only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Upload, generate, or distribute NSFW content, nudity, sexually explicit material, or adult content of any kind
- Upload, generate, or distribute graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies, incites, or provides instructions for violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Create deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any content that misrepresents a person's identity or likeness
- Process or generate images involving minors in any inappropriate or harmful context
- Use the service for illegal activities, harassment, abuse, defamation, hate speech, or any content that violates applicable laws
- Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property, trademarks, or privacy rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or use automated scripts to access the service without permission

3. User Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use ShotBG. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the images you upload. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and transform your images using our AI technology. The AI-transformed images are provided to you for your use, subject to these terms.
5. Payment and Billing
Payments for ShotBg subscriptions are processed by Waffo (waffo.ai), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Waffo — not ShotBg — appears as the seller on your card or bank statement, and Waffo is responsible for billing, applicable taxes, and payment support. The Pro subscription (billed monthly or yearly) automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings (Settings → Billing). Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and you retain access and any remaining monthly image allowance until the end of the current paid period. Unused monthly allowance does not roll over. Refunds are handled in accordance with our 7-day Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShotBg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of ShotBG from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the service or violation of these terms.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction at the operator's place of residence in mainland China. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law that applies where you live.
