What file formats does the ShotBG uploader accept?

Why is a transparent PNG better than a transparent GIF for a cutout?
GIF transparency is binary: every pixel is either fully visible or fully hidden, with no in-between. That produces hard, jagged edges around hair, fur and curved shapes. GIF is also limited to 256 colors per frame, which flattens photographic detail. PNG supports 256 levels of partial transparency (an alpha channel), so edges stay smooth and colors stay accurate. Can I turn the transparent PNG back into a GIF afterward?

Will it remove a person, object or logo from the frame?
